By downloading, installing, or using BopSpot, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use BopSpot.

You must be at least 13 years of age. If under 18, your parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these Terms on your behalf.

You are responsible for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information. Do not create accounts for others without consent, or sell/transfer your account.

You retain ownership of content you post (drops, notes, photos, comments, messages). By posting, you grant BopSpot a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, display, and distribute your content solely to operate and improve the service. This license ends when you delete your content or account.

Your content must not:

• Infringe third-party intellectual property, privacy, or publicity rights.
• Violate applicable laws.
• Be defamatory, obscene, hateful, threatening, or harassing.
• Contain spam, malware, or deceptive content.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Include others' personal information without their consent.

You must not use BopSpot to:

• Harass, bully, intimidate, or threaten other users.
• Post content promoting violence, hatred, or illegal activity.
• Share explicit or disturbing content.
• Use location features to stalk or surveil others.
• Spread misinformation or operate fake accounts.

Enabling location services reveals your approximate location to other users via the map. Exercise appropriate judgment about when and where you drop songs.

Music search is powered by the Spotify Web API. Use of music content is subject to Spotify's Terms of Service. BopSpot is not affiliated with or endorsed by Spotify AB.

To report copyright infringement, send a DMCA notice to [email protected] including: identification of the work and infringing content, your contact info, a good-faith statement, and a statement under penalty of perjury that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.

You agree not to:

• Use BopSpot for any illegal purpose.
• Reverse engineer or attempt to extract BopSpot's source code.
• Use bots, scrapers, or automated tools to access BopSpot.
• Circumvent or disable security features.
• Harvest personal data of other users.
• Transmit spam or unsolicited messages.
• Create multiple accounts to evade restrictions.
• Disrupt BopSpot's servers or infrastructure.
• Exploit bugs or vulnerabilities (report them to [email protected]).

The BopSpot app, logo, name, and original content are owned by BopSpot and its licensors. "BopSpot" is a trademark of BopSpot. Nothing in these Terms grants you rights to use our trademarks without prior written consent.

BopSpot is distributed via the Apple App Store. Apple is not a party to these Terms but is a third-party beneficiary and may enforce them against you. Your use is also subject to Apple's App Store Terms of Service.

BopSpot may reference third-party services (e.g., Spotify). We are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices.

We may suspend or terminate your access at any time for violations of these Terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting [email protected].

BopSpot is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant uninterrupted, error-free operation. Your use is at your sole risk.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BopSpot is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the greater of the amount you have paid us in the preceding 12 months or USD $50.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless BopSpot and its operators from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of BopSpot, your content, or your violation of these Terms.

Disputes shall first be attempted through good-faith informal negotiation ([email protected]). If unresolved within 30 days, they may be resolved through binding individual arbitration. Class actions are waived.

We will notify you of material changes via in-app notice or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
